Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Quality Analyst with 3+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications, preferably in the fitness, health, or wellness domain. As part of the Product & Technology team, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality product delivery by validating application functionality, performance, and user experience across platforms and devices.
Key Responsibilities (KPIs)
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to fitness tracking, health metrics, and user activity data.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
- Validate features including:
- Activity tracking (steps, workouts, calories burned)
- Health metrics (heart rate, sleep, SpO2, stress, HRV)
- Goal tracking and progress analytics
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of fitness and health data across devices and platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Conduct API testing for health and fitness integrations.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ensure compatibility across multiple devices, OS versions, and wearable integrations.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and automation frameworks.
RequirementsEducational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Prior experience in fitness, wellness, healthcare, or wearable-based applications preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Appium
- TestNG / JUnit / PyTest
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing using Postman and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) preferred.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow is an added advantage.
Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of:
- Activity tracking and calorie monitoring
- Sleep cycles and recovery metrics
- Heart rate zones, HRV, and stress indicators
- Preferred exposure to wearable integrations such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, etc.
