Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic and organized HR Executive / Generalist to manage our daily human resources operations at our Kolhapur location. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compliance (PF/ESIC), and payroll coordination while bridging the gap between management and employees to foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage end-to-end hiring for technical staff (mechanics, engineers), field sales executives, and administrative roles.
- Source resumes through local job portals, references, and institutions.
- Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews with department heads, and issue offer letters.
- Facilitate the smooth onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
- Attendance & Payroll Management:
- Track daily attendance, leaves, and outdoor duties (especially for field service technicians and sales teams).
- Prepare and process monthly attendance data for accurate payroll generation.
- Coordinate with the accounts team/consultants regarding statutory deductions.
- Statutory Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain up-to-date and organized digital and physical employee personnel files.
- Handle basic inquiries and coordination related to Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and worker benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and company guidelines.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, queries, and conflicts.
- Organize occasional employee engagement activities or training programs aligned with Kirloskar Care standards.
- Ensure a safe and collaborative working environment across the workshop and office spaces.
- Performance Tracking:
- Assist management in regular performance reviews and probation evaluations.
- Manage the exit process, including conducting exit interviews and processing full-and-final settlements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in Business Administration (BBA/BCom), or MBA/PGDM specializing in Human Resources.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Executive (Experience working in an automobile dealership, service center, or industrial/manufacturing setup is a strong plus).
- Languages: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Marathi and Hindi (essential for dealing with local staff and technicians) along with a working knowledge of English.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with MS Office (particularly Excel and Word) and familiarity with HR/Attendance tracking software.
- Key Traits: High level of confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving attitude, and ability to handle workforce management confidently.
