Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the organization. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, lead generation, sales negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to expand the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in domestic and/or international markets
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients through networking, cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person meetings
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts with growth goals
- Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets
- Track pipeline metrics and sales activities using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
