Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in market research, industry analysis, business intelligence, and preparing strategic insights for clients. The role requires expertise in conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing market trends, evaluating industry dynamics, and developing actionable business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and industry analysis across various sectors, including equity, commodity, and diverse industry domains to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Perform primary and secondary research using multiple data sources, surveys, interviews, industry reports, and databases.
- Prepare detailed market research reports, industry outlooks, company profiles, competitor benchmarking studies, and sector analysis reports.
- Develop strategic business insight presentations and recommendations for domestic and global clients.
- Analyze market trends, growth opportunities, consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
- Gather, interpret, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to support business decision-making.
- Monitor equity, commodity, and industry-specific developments and provide analytical insights.
- Support business intelligence initiatives by collecting and evaluating market information and competitive intelligence.
- Create dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries for stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver research-driven solutions and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Market Research, Industry Research, Business Intelligence, or Competitive Intelligence.
- Strong experience in Primary and Secondary Research methodologies.
- Experience in FMCG industry research is preferred.
- Exposure to Equity Research, Commodity Research, Industry Analysis, and Business Intelligence capabilities.
- Proven experience in preparing Market Research Reports, Industry Outlook Reports, Company Profiles, and Strategic Insight Presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and research databases.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with global clients and international markets.
- Knowledge of market sizing, forecasting, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be an added advantage.
