The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle—from lead qualification and client consultation to proposal presentation, negotiation, and closure. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of residential interiors, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Drive new customer acquisition through referrals, partnerships, digital leads, and networking.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from inquiry to closure.
- Identify opportunities to increase average project value and conversion rates.
Client Consultation & Sales
- Conduct discovery meetings with homeowners and understand their lifestyle, design, and budget requirements.
- Present Maywood's design process, portfolio, and value proposition.
- Work closely with designers to develop proposals aligned with client expectations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor sales executives and business development associates.
- Establish sales processes, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, coaching sessions, and pipeline audits.
- Ensure the team follows best practices in lead management and customer engagement.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Track key metrics including lead-to-meeting conversion, proposal conversion, closure rates, and revenue achievement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for leadership.
Partnerships & Market Development
- Develop relationships with architects, builders, channel partners, and real estate consultants.
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and customer preferences.
- Represent Maywood at industry events and networking forums.
RequirementsMust-Have
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in interiors, modular furniture, architecture, home improvement, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving ₹1 Cr+ annual sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing the complete sales cycle.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience with companies such as Livspace, HomeLane, Bonito, DesignCafe, or premium interior firms.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Existing network among architects, builders, and homeowners in Bangalore.
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or Design.
