Business Development Manager (BDM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drives company growth by securing new projects, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets in construction and contracting sectors. Key roles involve networking with developers and consultants, preparing technical proposals, and negotiating contracts, often requiring 8–15 years of experience and a strong grasp of HVAC and electrical systems
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identifying new project opportunities, generating leads, and closing sales for MEP contracting, often in commercial and industrial sectors.
- Client Management: Building and maintaining relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and procurement managers.
- Technical Sales: Understanding HVAC, firefighting, and electrical systems to provide technical presentations and solutions.
- Strategy & Reporting: Creating sales strategies, preparing tender documents, and managing the sales pipeline.
