About the Role:
Sun Chem India is a leading cosmetics and personal care company with 30+ years of expertise in formulations, product development, and innovative beauty solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Specialist to monitor and drive overall plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality compliance, GMP adherence, cost optimization, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor overall plant operations, production, quality, maintenance, stores, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with the Factory In-charge and plant-level teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Track production plans, plant performance, productivity, wastage, and downtime.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within quality, cost, and timelines.
- Monitor manpower planning, machine utilization, material availability, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, compliance, and SOPs.
- Review plant expenses and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and share key updates with management.
- Identify operational gaps and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
- Visit the Kolgaon plant regularly to review operations and resolve critical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, Pharma, or Chemical Manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, production planning, quality, and plant operations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Location: Goregaon, Mumbai
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
