Role Purpose
Responsible for managing dispatch operations for the Cable Lugs Division, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods to customers while maintaining accuracy in packing, documentation, inventory coordination, and logistics management. The role involves close coordination with production, stores, quality, and sales teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dispatch Planning & Coordination
- Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Sales departments for material readiness.
- Ensure timely dispatch of Cable Lugs, Connectors, Ferrules, Cable Glands, and Electrical Accessories.
- Monitor pending dispatches and prioritize urgent customer orders.
2. Packing & Shipment Management
- Supervise packing activities as per approved packing standards.
- Ensure correct labelling, quantity verification, and packaging before dispatch.
- Verify carton markings, batch details, and shipping labels.
- Ensure products are packed safely to prevent transit damage.
3. Documentation & Logistics
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents including:
- Delivery Challans
- E-Way Bills
- Tax Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Transport Documents
- Coordinate with transporters, courier agencies, and logistics partners.
- Track shipments and update customers/sales team regarding dispatch status.
4. Inventory & Material Control
- Maintain dispatch records and stock movement reports.
- Coordinate with stores for inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure FIFO implementation wherever applicable.
- Monitor finished goods inventory and report shortages.
5. Team Management
- Supervise dispatch assistants, packers, and loading staff.
- Allocate daily work responsibilities.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and cleanliness within the dispatch area.
- Train team members on packing and dispatch procedures.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure only approved and inspected material is dispatched.
- Verify quantities and part numbers before shipment.
- Follow company SOPs, ISO procedures, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain traceability records and dispatch documentation.
7. Customer Service Support
- Coordinate with customers regarding dispatch schedules and shipment status.
- Handle dispatch-related queries and resolve delivery issues.
- Support urgent and export shipment requirements.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of dispatch, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Experience in packing and shipment coordination.
- Knowledge of E-Way Bill and dispatch documentation.
- Good inventory management skills.
- Ability to handle transporters and logistics vendors.
- Leadership and manpower management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Education & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Dispatch, Stores, Warehouse, or Logistics.
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience in electrical products, cable lugs, cable glands, or engineering products will be an added advantage.

- On-time dispatch performance.
- Dispatch accuracy (Quantity & Documentation).
- Reduction in dispatch errors and customer complaints.
- Inventory reconciliation accuracy.
- Loading and dispatch turnaround time.
- Compliance with packing and dispatch standards.

- Ability to handle multiple dispatches simultaneously.

- Willingness to work extended hours during urgent dispatch schedules.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
