We are currently looking for an experienced Assamese Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) to support AI training projects and ensure high standards of language quality, consistency, and contributor performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in the Assamese language, content quality, translation, localisation, editing, or AI training who are interested in contributing to the development of next-generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated Assamese content and trainer/QA outputs
- Assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, and meaning preservation
- Provide clear, structured, and actionable feedback to trainers and QAs
- Support onboarding and training of Assamese language contributors
- Address language-related questions and resolve quality edge cases
- Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality documentation, and training materials
- Identify recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements
- Communicate project updates and quality expectations across remote teams
Ideal Candidate
- Native or near-native proficiency in Assamese with excellent reading and writing skills
- Strong English communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in Assamese writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, education, annotation, or related fields
- Strong understanding of Assamese grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with detailed quality rubrics
- Experience working with remote teams is preferred
- Exposure to AI training, LLM evaluation, data annotation, or language QA is an added advantage
