The Orion Group of Hotels is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead revenue generation and market penetration across our multi-property portfolio. The ideal candidate must possess an extensive and deep-rooted background in hospitality sales, with a proven track record of managing corporate accounts, travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
As a senior leader in the department, you will be responsible for driving room occupancy, maximizing banquet revenues, and positioning our brand as a premier choice for both business and leisure segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue & Strategy: Formulate and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve room night and revenue targets, maximizing RevPAR, ADR, and market share.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across Corporate, Leisure, and MICE segments while leading high-value RFP negotiations.
- Account Management: Nurture and expand relationships with key corporate clients, Travel Management Companies (TMCs), and Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
- Operations Liaison: Lead property site inspections and coordinate closely with Revenue Management, Front Office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and optimal inventory control.
- Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track market intelligence, and provide regular data-backed performance updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Experience: 7 to 8 years of core, progressive experience strictly within hospitality sales, ideally handling multi-property or cluster portfolios.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a strong plus).
- Skills: Strong understanding of hotel revenue metrics, excellent negotiation and contract-closing abilities, and deep networks within local corporate and travel trade markets.
