Job Overview:
Senior IT Executive will manage, maintain, and secure the organisation’s network, firewall, endpoint, and IT infrastructure. The role will be responsible for ensuring high availability of LAN/WAN services, secure internet and remote connectivity, effective endpoint protection, and timely resolution of infrastructure and security incidents.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and management to maintain a reliable, secure, and well-documented IT environment that supports business operations across offices and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Layer-2 and Layer-3 switches.
- Configure routers, VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth utilization.
- Troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues.
- Configure DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IP Address Management.
- Manage wireless access points and enterprise Wi-Fi.
- Configure network redundancy and failover solutions.
- Monitor internet leased lines and ISP connectivity.
- Document network topology and infrastructure.
Firewall and Network Security
- Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls.
- Create and manage security policies.
- Configure IPS/IDS.
- Configure URL filtering.
- Configure Application Control.
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Deploy and manage EDR agents across Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
- Monitor EDR dashboards for threats and incidents.
- Investigate malware detections, ransomware attempts, and suspicious activities.
- Respond to security alerts according to Incident Response procedures.
- Perform endpoint isolation when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in network administration, infrastructure, or network security.
- Experience managing enterprise firewalls and network security solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoint connectivity/security issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of network monitoring and security incident response processes.
- Ability to document network infrastructure and maintain technical documentation.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
