Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager & Tender Lead to drive business growth by identifying, evaluating, and securing high-value contracts across PSUs, Government entities, and Corporate accounts. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial bids, managing the end-to-end tendering process from identification through to final submission.
Key Responsibilities1. Tender Identification & Evaluation
- Actively monitor Government E-Tender Portals (GeM, CPPP), Ariba, and aggregator platforms to source new tender opportunities and project leads.
- Screen and evaluate RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to determine business viability and technical alignment with our product portfolio.
2. Pre-Sales & Technical Proposal Management
- Interpret complex technical bid requirements and collaborate with internal Purchase, Production, and Engineering teams to secure precise specifications and delivery timelines.
- Draft comprehensive technical proposals, data sheets, and compliance matrices tailored to client requirements.
- Work closely with Sales and Product teams to align pricing strategies, cost estimations, and commercial margins.
3. Bid Planning & Submission
- Own the end-to-end bidding process across multiple formats, including online e-tendering, offline submissions, and reverse auctions.
- Compile all necessary legal, financial, and technical documentation, ensuring 100% compliance with tender mandates to avoid disqualification.
- Ensure all bids are meticulously reviewed, approved, and submitted well ahead of deadlines.
4. Post-Tender & Account Development
- Conduct post-tender analysis to track success metrics and gather insights for continuous process improvement.
- Assist the sales team with account development, including initial market research and early-stage legwork for prospective clients.
- Maintain and update internal standardized tender procedures and documentation libraries.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Pre-Sales, Bid Management, or Government Tendering profiles (specifically dealing with PSUs and GeM portal).
- Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to telecom, radio communication, networking, or electronic security systems is highly advantageous.
- Technical & Core Skills:
- Strong ability to accurately interpret complex technical and commercial bid requirements.
- Expertise in navigating online bidding portals (GeM, Ariba, state/central e-procurement sites).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and proposal creation.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet rigid deadlines under pressure.
- A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to work.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma / B.Sc in Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Management Degree: BBA, BCA, or MBA (preferred but not mandatory if technical/tendering experience is strong).
Compensation & Location
- Job Location: Delhi-NCR
- Remuneration: ₹4,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 Per Annum + Performance-Based Variables (commensurate with experience)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
