Job Description – Service Engineer (VFD)

Position Overview:
Endosys Automation is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer (VFD) to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities related to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and industrial automation systems. The candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operation of automation equipment and timely resolution of technical issues.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VFD systems, electrical panels, and industrial automation processes. The role requires frequent site visits, customer interaction, and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation and commissioning of VFD drives and automation systems
· Parameter configuration, tuning, and testing of VFDs
· Troubleshooting and repairing VFD-related issues at customer sites
· Handling breakdown calls and providing on-site technical support
· Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and automation systems
· Reading and understanding electrical drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
· Supporting PLC-based automation systems and electrical control panels
· Diagnosing faults related to motors, drives, panels, and field devices
· Conducting testing and inspection of automation panels before dispatch
· Preparing service reports and maintaining proper documentation
· Coordinating with customers for service schedules and issue resolution
· Ensuring timely completion of assigned service activities
· Following company safety standards and site protocols during field work
Qualifications:
· Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering field
· 2–4 years of hands-on experience in VFD servicing, commissioning, and industrial automation
· Experience in handling industrial site service activities preferred
· Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
· Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial automation
· Knowledge of electrical panels, motor control systems, and industrial wiring
· Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation faults independently
· Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and control systems
· Understanding of panel components such as MCCB, contactors, relays, SMPS, etc.
· Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents
· Good communication and customer-handling skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
· Ability to work independently and under pressure
· Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
· Good time management and reporting skills
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with VFD brands such as ABB, Siemens, Delta, Schneider, Danfoss, Allen Bradley, etc.
· Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI systems will be an added advantage
· Experience in industrial automation projects and site commissioning
· Gujarat-based candidates preferred
· Willingness to travel for site visits and customer support
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to travel frequently for customer site visits
· Ability to work at industrial sites and factory environments
· Physically fit to handle field service activities and electrical inspections
· Comfortable working in shifts or emergency breakdown situations when required

Candidate Profile:

- Team player with a positive attitude and learning mindset
Preferred:
- Candidates with industrial automation background will be given preference
- Candidate should be ready for field/site travel

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
