Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on their preferences, budget, and occasion.
- Answer product-related questions, such as purity, weight, price, and making charges.
- Product Knowledge:
- Have detailed knowledge of the jewellery collections, including gold, silver, diamonds, and gemstones.
- Explain features like hallmarking, certifications, and care instructions for jewellery.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Upsell or cross-sell higher-value items or complementary products like jewellery care kits or add-ons.
- Inventory Management:
- Ensure jewellery is displayed attractively in showcases.
- Maintain proper stock levels and report low stock items to the manager.
- Billing and Documentation:
- Generate accurate invoices and ensure proper documentation for all purchases.
- Handle cash and card transactions with efficiency and honesty.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain a pleasant and respectful relationship with repeat and loyal customers.
- Collect feedback and inform the management of customer suggestions or complaints.
- Promotional Activities:
- Participate in store events, offers, or festivals to promote sales.
- Educate customers about ongoing discounts, exchange programs, and loyalty schemes.
- Care and Security:
- Ensure jewellery is handled with care to avoid damage or loss.
- Adhere to the store's security policies to prevent theft or mismanagement.
