We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales & Business Development professional to join our growing digital marketing team. In this role, you will be the key driver of revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals across our digital marketing service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across industries for digital marketing services (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Performance Marketing etc.)
- Own and manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and pitch to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans via email campaigns, LinkedIn, cold calls, and networking events
- Prepare compelling sales presentations, service decks, and customised proposals tailored to prospect needs
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company margins and policies
- Track and analyse conversion rates across each stage of the sales funnel and optimise accordingly
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers (CEO & Founders)
- Understand client marketing goals and position our solutions as the right fit
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-sales and onboarding phase to ensure a smooth handover to delivery teams
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, deal stages, and account history in the CRM system
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and competitor offerings
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to shape product/service development
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Conduct periodic competitor analysis to benchmark service offerings, pricing, and positioning
- Identify whitespace opportunities in new verticals, geographies, or audience segments for business expansion
- Monitor industry developments and share insights with the sales and leadership team on a regular basis
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with delivery and strategy teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction
- Report pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership on a weekly/monthly basis
- Contribute to development of pitch decks, proposals, and RFP responses
- Work closely with the marketing team to align outbound sales efforts with inbound campaigns and brand messaging
- Collaborate with the finance team on billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition for closed deals
- Share regular MIS reports on new business won, pipeline health, deal velocity, and revenue contribution
- Actively participate in weekly sales reviews, team huddles, and strategy meetings
Revenue & Target Management
- Own individual and team revenue targets and take accountability for monthly, quarterly, and annual performance
- Drive consistent achievement of KPIs including number of new client acquired, average deal size, and sales cycle duration
- Forecast revenue accurately based on pipeline stage and deal probability
- Identify and mitigate risks in the pipeline that may impact revenue goals
- Work with leadership to define pricing strategies and discount structures for different client segments
Brand Representation & Thought Leadership
- Represent the company as a credible and knowledgeable spokesperson in client meetings, pitches, and industry forums
- Actively build a personal brand on platforms like LinkedIn to attract inbound interest and establish credibility
- Contribute to case studies, testimonials, and success stories in collaboration with the marketing team
- Participate in panel discussions, webinars, and industry events to position the company as a leader in digital marketing solutions
Requirements
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably in a digital marketing, media, or advertising agency
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services — SEO, AEO, GEO, CRO, Social Media, Content Marketing, Email Marketing and Performance Marketing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Available to join immediately or within 30 days
Good to Have
- Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients
- Network and existing client relationships in relevant industries
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or digital-first agency
