Mobile Application Developer - iOS & Android (Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services)
Experience: 6-10 years | Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru, India | Positions: 1
Role Summary:
Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise-grade mobile applications supporting Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services platforms. The role owns the complete mobile development lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, code reviews, testing support and deployment activities across Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications with the Project Manager, Analyst, Architect, QA Lead and stakeholders.

Develop native Android applications using Kotlin.

Develop native iOS applications using Swift.

Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.

Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication services, and cloud platforms.

Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews.

Perform unit testing and support integration, system and UAT testing activities.

Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to engineering quality improvements.

Strictly follow coding standards, secure development practices, architecture guidelines, and quality processes.

Collaborate with architects to ensure compliance with architectural and security requirements.

Support CI/CD, build management, release management, and deployments.

Leverage AI tools for requirements analysis, code generation, test creation, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.

Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code before implementation.

Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, quality issues, maintainability risks and compliance gaps in AI-generated outputs.
Required Skills:

6+ years of mobile application development experience.

Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin.

Strong expertise in iOS development using Swift.

Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and design principles.

Experience integrating mobile applications with enterprise APIs and cloud services.

Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe or DevOps environments.

Experience conducting peer code reviews and mentoring developers.

Strong understanding of coding standards, secure coding practices, code quality metrics and engineering best practices.

Experience using source control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Demonstrated ability to validate AI-generated code for functionality, maintainability, security, performance, and compliance.
Good to Have:

Connected vehicle, telematics, mobility or IoT application experience.

Experience publishing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Experience with mobile monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting platforms.
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electronics or related field.
