Role Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Executive Trainee to join our media team. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about video editing, content creation, and visual storytelling. The trainee will assist in producing engaging video content for digital platforms while learning industry-standard editing techniques and production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in editing educational, promotional, and social media videos.
- Trim, assemble, and enhance raw footage into high-quality videos.
- Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, music, and sound effects where required.
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and academic teams to understand content requirements.
- Organize and maintain video files and project assets.
- Ensure videos are delivered within timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and creative techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools is an added advantage.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio or sample video projects will be an added advantage.
