Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our hotel's Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. The candidate should maintain high standards of hygiene, follow responsible alcohol service practices, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Interact with guests professionally and recommend drinks based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware.
- Monitor bar inventory and report stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Prepare garnishes, mixers, and ingredients before service.
- Process guest orders accurately and coordinate with the restaurant service team.
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and billing accurately.
- Ensure proper storage of beverages following hotel standards.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per hotel policies.
- Assist in bar setup, closing procedures, and inventory counts.
- Handle guest complaints courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
- Promote hotel beverage specials and upsell premium products to maximize revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Bartending certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, lounge, or premium bar.
- Freshers with hotel management education and bartending training may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Basic inventory management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
