We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, data architecture, and modern data platform design.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Hive, Oracle, MySQL
Hands-on expertise in ERWin, ER/Studio, SQL DB modeling tools, or open-source ERD tools
Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
Experience with enterprise data warehouse and data lake architectures
Strong SQL and database design skills
Key Responsibilities
Define architecture blueprints, HLD/LLD documentation, and integration patterns.
Design scalable data models that support business processes and ensure data consistency across systems.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
Create relational, dimensional, and semantic data models.
Analyze source systems and identify entities, attributes, relationships, and data dependencies.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate and refine data models.
Design data lake models using modern formats such as Parquet, Delta Lake, and Apache Iceberg.
Develop fact and dimension tables, views, semantic layers, and subject areas.
Ensure adherence to data governance, data quality, and modeling standards.
Support data integration, reporting, analytics, and BI initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Data Warehousing, BI, and Analytics platforms.
Understanding of cloud data ecosystems and modern data architectures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.
