Role-
The incumbent is responsible for smooth functioning of the toll plaza operation & collection activities independently.
1. His prime responsibility is to ensure all collectable revenue is collected as mandated in the SOPs and the fee notification.
2. Ensure valid exemptions and minimize violations.
3. He is responsible for ensuring pilferage free toll operations by ensuring adherence to SOPs and completeness of shift paper work / documentation, Management of traffic, safety & security, cleanliness.
4. Duly report any faults in civil, electrical & equipment work at toll plaza.
5. Revenue reconciliation for the shift, Handling tough/ irate customers, Maintaining healthy/ cordial relationship with the police personnel//'s.
6. He need to analyse and escalate any specific trends/ malpractices by toll collectors.
7. Conduct daily briefings (shift wise).
8. People Management to be practised by providing employee training , imparting discipline and prepare a fair and transparent duty rosters for toll collection Employees
