Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and business analysis while offering exposure to corporate finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
- Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct market research and financial benchmarking.
- Help reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
