Job Summary
International Transmission Ltd. (ITL) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning.
- Allocate manpower and monitor workforce productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
- Monitor machine utilization and minimize production downtime.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production procedures.
- Maintain production reports and daily records.
- Implement and monitor 5S and safety practices in the production area.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions.
- Train and guide operators and helpers for efficient work performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and shop floor management.
- Ability to handle manpower and coordinate with different departments.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting will be an added advantage.
