Job Summary
The Marketing Executive – Doctor Referral is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare providers to increase patient referrals and strengthen the hospital's network. The role focuses on promoting the hospital's specialties, consultants, diagnostic services, and patient care facilities while ensuring ethical marketing practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesDoctor Relationship Management
- Visit referring doctors, clinics, and nursing homes regularly.
- Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Promote the hospital's specialties, consultants, and healthcare services.
- Maintain an updated database of referral doctors and referral patterns.
Referral Development
- Generate new doctor referrals for inpatient and outpatient services.
- Coordinate appointments between referring doctors and hospital consultants when required.
- Follow up on referrals and provide timely updates to referring doctors.
- Identify opportunities to increase referral volumes.
Marketing Activities
- Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, medical camps, and awareness programs.
- Coordinate health talks and promotional activities.
- Distribute hospital brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Represent the hospital at healthcare events and conferences.
Coordination
- Work closely with consultants, operations, and patient care departments.
- Ensure seamless coordination for referred patients.
- Resolve concerns raised by referring doctors promptly.
- Coordinate VIP and priority referrals when necessary.
Reporting
- Submit daily visit reports.
- Maintain monthly referral statistics.
- Analyze referral trends and suggest improvement strategies.
- Achieve monthly referral and business development targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of doctor visits completed.
- Number of active referring doctors.
- Monthly patient referrals generated.
