Job Title: Driver Cum Technician
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Driver Cum Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely transport materials and equipment to customer sites. During non-driving hours, the candidate will assist in the assembly of electrical panel boards at our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company heavy vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Load and unload electrical panels, tools, and other materials.
- Deliver materials to customer sites on time while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- During non-driving hours, assemble electrical panel boards as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Assist with the installation, testing, and servicing of electrical panel boards at customer sites when required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and serviced as scheduled.
- Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.
- Support the production team in meeting daily assembly targets.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence is mandatory.
- ITI (Electrician/Fitter) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of electrical panel assembly or willingness to learn.
- Ability to read assembly drawings is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
