About the Internship
We are looking for a passionate and motivated MERN Stack Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship offers hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). You'll work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and gain exposure to modern development practices in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive user interfaces using React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Work with MongoDB for database design and management.
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Learn and implement industry best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React Hooks.
- Basic understanding of authentication (JWT).
- Knowledge of API integration.
- Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or Render.
- Understanding of state management (Context API or Redux).
