QA Manager – Enterprise & GenAI Quality Engineering

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead end-to-end quality engineering for a distributed enterprise platform spanning web applications, mobile apps, REST APIs, databases, cloud services, and AI-powered agents. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will define quality strategy, drive automation excellence, implement GenAI-powered QA practices, and mentor a growing QA/SDET team.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive QA strategy across the complete SDLC for enterprise applications.
Lead functional, regression, integration, E2E, performance, security, and AI feature testing initiatives.
Architect scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, database, and AI agent validation.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
Leverage GenAI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude , and ChatGPT for test generation, defect analysis, and automation acceleration.
Build evaluation frameworks for AI/LLM-based features including prompt regression, hallucination detection, and output validation.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to enable shift-left quality practices.
Mentor and manage QA/SDET teams while driving continuous improvement and quality metrics reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years in Software QA with 3+ years in QA leadership or management roles.
Strong experience testing distributed enterprise applications and microservices architectures.
Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, Postman/Newman, Karate, JMeter, or similar.
Experience with relational databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and SQL validation.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps workflows.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with performance, scalability, and security testing methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder communication and quality reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS, Android, Flutter).
Exposure to AI/ML or LLM feature testing and evaluation frameworks.
Familiarity with OWASP, SAST/DAST, accessibility testing, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent preferred.
