Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development for S/4HANA
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Optimize and migrate traditional ABAP code to S/4HANA using best practices like CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Develop Fiori-based applications using SAP UI5 and OData.
- Performance Optimization & Code Enhancements
- Perform code optimization and debugging using SAP HANA-specific techniques.
- Enhance standard SAP functionalities through BADI, User Exits, and Enhancements.
- Ensure optimal performance by leveraging HANA-native capabilities like Code Pushdown.
- Integration & Data Management
- Develop and maintain interfaces using RESTful APIs, OData, IDocs, and RFCs.
- Work on data migration using LSMW, BDC, and SAP Migration Cockpit.
- Implement and manage ALE/EDI integration between SAP and third-party applications.
- SAP Fiori & UI5 Development
- Collaborate with the Fiori/UI5 team to build responsive and interactive applications.
- Develop and expose OData services for seamless Fiori integration.
- Testing & Troubleshooting
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ABAP code.
- Support functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
- Document technical specifications, test scripts, and solution designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience in ABAP development with a focus on S/4HANA.
- Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Gateway services.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization in HANA.
- Familiarity with ABAP Restful Application Programming Model (RAP) is a plus.
- Good understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) for cross-functional development.
