Through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach, we help children build foundational skills for lifelong learning and independence.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Special Educator to join our team, working primarily with children aged 0–12 years. This position is ideal for an educator with experience in early childhood special education who is committed to inclusive, play-based, and goal-oriented instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess children's developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs using standardized tools and informal observations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s learning goals
- Deliver individual and small-group instruction using play-based and structured teaching strategies
- Track and document children’s progress and adjust learning goals as needed
- Collaborate closely with families to support consistent learning at home
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals
- Support school readiness and transitions into inclusive or mainstream educational settings
- Participate in parent meetings, team discussions, and staff training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education / Early Childhood Special Education
- Certification in Special Education from a recognized institution
- Minimum 0–5 years of experience working with children aged 0–6 years with developmental delays or disabilities
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and special education strategies
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to individualized care
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IEPs, IFSPs, and early intervention frameworks
- Experience with teaching strategies such as ABA, TEACCH, Floortime, PECS, or Sensory Integration
- Ability to work with children with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, speech and language delays, and other developmental conditions
