The Survey Engineer will be responsible for carrying out surveying activities required for construction execution, including layout marking, level checking, and dimensional control of structural works.
The role ensures that construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, coordinates, and project benchmarks. The candidate will work closely with civil execution teams, tower incharges, and QA/QC teams to maintain survey accuracy during construction.
Perform layout and setting out of structural elements such as columns, shear walls, beams, and slabs as per approved drawings.
Mark grid lines, column locations, and reference points using survey instruments.
Ensure accurate positioning of construction elements at site.
Establish and maintain benchmarks and reference levels for construction activities.
Check and monitor levels for excavation, footing, slabs, and structural works.
Ensure construction work follows approved level tolerances.
Operate survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, and Dumpy Level for site measurements.
Assist in establishing survey control points and reference coordinates.
Perform regular survey checks to ensure alignment and dimensional accuracy.
Coordinate with tower incharges, engineers, and supervisors for survey requirements.
Provide layout references for formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works.
Support execution teams in resolving survey-related technical issues.
Conduct regular checks to ensure structural alignment and dimensional accuracy.
Verify layout markings before commencement of formwork and reinforcement activities.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for survey verification during critical stages of construction.
Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and handling of survey instruments.
Check accuracy and calibration of Total Station and leveling instruments.
Maintain survey equipment in proper working condition.
Maintain records of survey readings, layout coordinates, and measurement data.
