Position: Assistant Professor – Physiotherapy
Department: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor to join our Physiotherapy department. The candidate will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical instruction, guiding students in clinical training, and contributing to the academic and professional development of BPT students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions for BPT students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and laboratory sessions.
- Guide and supervise students during clinical postings and internships.
- Mentor students in academic and clinical activities.
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations, seminars, and case presentations.
- Guide students in academic projects and research activities.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and departmental documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and institutional activities.
- Coordinate with hospitals/clinical departments for student clinical training.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and other academic initiatives.
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
Educational Qualification:
- BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) – Minimum qualification.
- MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) – Preferred.
- Relevant professional registration, wherever applicable.
Experience:
- Freshers with BPT may be considered.
- Candidates with teaching or clinical experience in Physiotherapy will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Physiotherapy concepts and clinical practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good classroom and student-management skills.
- Ability to conduct practical and clinical teaching.
- Student mentoring and counselling skills.
- Good academic documentation and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹20,061.27 - ₹27,658.30 per month
Work Location: In person
