ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a multi-business group based in Madurai with operations across three industries. We are looking for a creative, hands-on Branding, Design & Social Media Executive who owns everything visual and digital for all our businesses — from brand identity to daily social media posts.
This is a role for someone who is genuinely passionate about design and social media — someone who follows trends, experiments with new formats before they are mainstream, and brings fresh ideas to the table without being asked. If you are the kind of person who redesigns things just because you think they could look better, we want to meet you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Branding & Visual Identity:
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for each business — logo usage, colors, typography, and tone
- Design all marketing collaterals — brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, and business cards
- Ensure visual consistency across all digital and print touchpoints
- Continuously refresh and evolve brand visuals to stay current and competitive
Social Media Management (Daily Responsibility):
- Plan, design, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for all businesses
- Create and post static posts, carousels, reels, stories, and highlight covers on schedule
- Write engaging captions in Tamil and English — on-brand, platform-appropriate tone
- Actively monitor comments, DMs, and engagement — respond promptly and professionally
- Track performance metrics weekly — reach, engagement, follower growth — and adjust strategy
- Stay ahead of social media trends and proactively pitch new content ideas and formats
Creative Content & Campaigns:
- Conceptualise and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional creatives
- Design WhatsApp broadcast visuals and email newsletter templates
- Create Meta ad creatives — static and animated — for paid campaigns
- Experiment with new content formats — reels, trending audio, interactive stories — and test what works
Video & Motion:
- Shoot and edit short-form video content for reels and stories using smartphone or camera
- Basic motion graphics and animated posts for social media
- Coordinate with management for product or site shoots when required
REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory:
- 3–5 years of independent experience in design and social media management
- Strong portfolio showing brand identity work AND active social media pages you have managed
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Canva Pro — confident and fast
- Hands-on social media management experience — not just design, but posting, engaging, and growing
- Basic video editing — CapCut, Reels editor, or Premiere Pro
- Tamil and English copywriting for captions and campaign messaging
- Highly self-motivated — brings ideas, tries new things, and does not wait to be told
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and paid ad creative design
- Motion graphics — After Effects or similar
- Photography skills for product or location shoots
- Prior experience handling social media for multiple brands simultaneously
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR — PERSONALITY
We are not looking for someone who executes briefs. We are looking for someone who comes in with ideas, pushes creative boundaries, and is genuinely excited about building something. You should be the kind of person who:
- Tries a trending reel format before being asked
- Spots a competitor doing something interesting and immediately thinks of how to do it better
- Has strong opinions about what looks good and is not afraid to share them
- Gets uncomfortable posting average content
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT
A portfolio is mandatory. Please include examples of brand identity work, social media pages or accounts you have managed, and content you are proud of. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
