Job Description
1. Teaching & Instruction
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons according to the curriculum.
- Explain concepts like algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and statistics in simple ways.
- Use different teaching methods (visual aids, activities, real-life examples) to suit diverse learners.
2. Lesson Planning
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
- Align lessons with school standards and syllabus requirements.
- Set learning objectives for each class.
3. Student Assessment
- Create and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments.
- Monitor student progress and identify learning gaps.
- Provide feedback to help students improve.
4. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Encourage participation and engagement from all students.
- Handle different learning speeds and behaviors effectively.
5. Individual Support
- Help struggling students through extra guidance or remedial classes.
- Challenge advanced students with higher-level problems.
- Offer one-on-one support when needed.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance records and academic reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities.
- Communicate student progress with parents.
7. Skill Development
- Encourage logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
- Promote problem-solving skills and confidence in mathematics.
- Integrate technology (calculators, educational software) where appropriate.
8. Professional Responsibilities
- Stay updated with new teaching methods and curriculum changes.
- Follow school policies and educational guidelines.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff.
Basic Requirements (may vary by school)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education (B.Ed often required in India).
- Strong subject knowledge.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
