- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding
- Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Cut, grind, fit, and align metal components before welding
- Inspect weld quality and repair defects if needed
- Operate and maintain welding machines and tools
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE properly
- Work with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to complete jobs on time
- Handle fabrication and structural assembly work
