Role Overview
The Fire & Plumbing Design Engineer will be responsible for designing efficient, cost-effective, and compliant fire protection and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The role involves developing detailed design layouts, performing hydraulic calculations, and ensuring that all systems adhere to national and international standards. The candidate will collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality design delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Design and draft detailed plumbing and firefighting system layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.

Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection to ensure optimal design performance.

Ensure all designs comply with NBC, NFPA, and relevant local authority regulations.

Coordinate with architecture, structure, and MEP teams for design integration and conflict resolution.

Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and material data sheets for execution.

Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and system optimization discussions.

Support the site team during execution for design clarifications and technical inputs.
Qualifications & Skills

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

6–8 years of experience in fire protection and plumbing system design.

Proficiency in Revit, Elite, and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of fire safety codes, plumbing standards, and system hydraulics.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
