We're Hiring: Video Shoot Intern
Kiara Clinic is looking for a Video Shoot Intern who's passionate about visual storytelling, camera work, and video production. Great opportunity to build a real production portfolio while working on live shoots.
Location: On-site Duration: 6 months Stipend: 5000-9000
What You'll Do:
- Assist in planning and setting up video shoots (lighting, camera, sound)
- Operate cameras/gimbals during shoots under guidance
- Manage equipment (cameras, tripods, mics, lights)
- Capture behind-the-scenes content for social media
- Assist in basic on-set editing/preview checks
- Organize and back up raw footage after shoots
Who We're Looking For:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Mass Communication, Media, or related field
- Basic understanding of camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless) and framing
- Familiarity with lighting and sound setup basics
- Knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut) — a plus
- Strong eye for visual composition
- Physically able to assist with equipment setup/movement
- Punctual, organized, and able to work on shoot-day schedules
Skills Required:
- Camera handling (DSLR/mirrorless/gimbal)
- Basic lighting & sound knowledge
- Shot composition & framing sense
- Video editing basics (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve/CapCut)
- Attention to detail & continuity awareness
- Time management (shoot schedules can be tight)
- Teamwork (coordinating with directors, talent, crew)
- Physical stamina (equipment handling, long shoot days)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Pre-shoot: help prep equipment, checklists, location setup
- On-shoot: assist camera/lighting/sound team, manage slates/shot lists
- Post-shoot: backup footage, label files, basic rough cuts if needed
- Ongoing: maintain gear, assist in scouting, learn from senior videographers
