About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer – QA/QC with strong experience in Civil Quality Assurance & Quality Control. The candidate will be responsible for site quality inspections, material testing, documentation, and ensuring civil construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of civil construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
- Conduct and coordinate material testing for concrete, cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, and other construction materials.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and quality records.
- Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Method Statements.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with site teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Raise, monitor, and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) wherever required.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams for quality inspections and approvals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper site quality control.
- Maintain records of inspections, material approvals, testing, and quality-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with project quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 5 years of experience for B.E./B.Tech candidates OR 8 years for Diploma candidates.
- Strong experience in Civil QA/QC and construction quality control.
- Experience in quality inspection, material testing, documentation, and site quality control.
- Good knowledge of RCC, building construction, and civil finishing works.
- Knowledge of ITP, Method Statements, NCR, inspection procedures, and QA/QC documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
