About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in designing, building, and programming robotic systems. The ideal candidate should have practical experience developing robots using Arduino and Raspberry Pi, integrating sensors, actuators, and embedded systems, and delivering working robotic prototypes or production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robotic systems and prototypes.
- Develop embedded software using Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms.
- Interface sensors, motors, actuators, cameras, and communication modules.
- Design and implement robot control algorithms.
- Develop firmware in C/C++ and application software in Python.
- Integrate hardware and software components for autonomous and semi-autonomous robots.
- Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and test reports.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in robotics development.
- Strong experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
- Experience interfacing with:
- Ultrasonic, IR, IMU, GPS, Encoder, LiDAR, and Camera sensors
- Servo, DC, BLDC, and Stepper motors
- Knowledge of communication protocols:
- UART
- I2C
- SPI
- CAN (preferred)
- MQTT (preferred)
- Experience with motor drivers and embedded electronics.
- Familiarity with Linux on Raspberry Pi.
- Experience in PCB bring-up and hardware debugging.
- Understanding of power management and battery-operated systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Knowledge of computer vision using OpenCV.
- Experience with AI/ML integration for robotics.
- Familiarity with SLAM, path planning, and autonomous navigation.
- Experience with wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, or LoRa.
- Understanding of CAD software and mechanical integration.
- Experience with cloud connectivity and IoT platforms is a plus.
