About the Role
PG Garodia School is looking for an experienced and dynamic Secondary Mathematics, Computer & Robotics Teacher to inspire students through innovative teaching practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to integrate technology and STEM education into the learning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics, Computer Science, and Robotics to students in Secondary Grades (Grades V–X).
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities through interactive teaching methodologies.
- Conduct practical sessions in coding, robotics, and STEM-based learning.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, practical assessments, and examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare students for Olympiads, coding competitions, robotics competitions, mathematics and other academic events.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and assessment documentation.
- Collaborate with school leadership, coordinators, and colleagues to enhance academic excellence.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- 5–8 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/State Board school/IB, preferably handling Secondary Grades.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics, Computer Science, Coding, Robotics, and STEM education.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scratch, or similar educational platforms.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
