Position Summary
The Project Planning & Coordination Engineer will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and coordination activities across the project lifecycle. The role will support the Project Manager in ensuring timely delivery of projects through effective planning, resource management, procurement tracking, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and project controls. The position requires close collaboration with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, quantity surveyors, facility management teams, and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop, maintain, and update project master schedules, detailed execution programs, milestone trackers, and look-ahead plans.
Establish project baselines and monitor progress against approved schedules.
Identify critical path activities, schedule deviations, and potential delays, and recommend corrective actions and recovery plans.
Coordinate project sequencing and resource allocation to achieve project milestones.
Prepare manpower deployment plans and contractor resource planning schedules.
Project Controls & Monitoring
Monitor project performance against schedule, budget, procurement, and execution targets.
Track key project milestones and provide regular updates to management.
Monitor spend targets and support cost forecasting and project budgeting activities.
Develop project dashboards, S-curves, progress measurement systems, and management reports.
Conduct variance analysis and highlight areas requiring management intervention.
Procurement & Material Planning
Coordinate with Procurement and Contracts teams to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare material requirement plans considering procurement lead times and project schedules.
Track procurement status, material deliveries, and vendor commitments.
Identify procurement-related risks that may impact project timelines and propose mitigation measures.
Design & Drawing Coordination
Coordinate design deliverables, drawing submissions, consultant inputs, and technical approvals.
Track drawing status and ensure timely issuance of approved drawings for construction activities.
Facilitate design reviews and coordinate closure of design-related issues.
Monitor consultant deliverables and ensure compliance with project timelines and requirements.
Risk Management
Identify project risks related to design, procurement, construction, resources, and approvals.
Maintain project risk registers and track implementation of mitigation measures.
Escalate critical risks and issues to the Project Manager and management team.
Support development of contingency and recovery plans.
Stakeholder & Project Coordination
Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, clients, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
Organize and participate in project review meetings, design coordination meetings, procurement reviews, and progress meetings.
Track action items and ensure timely closure of commitments by stakeholders.
Support client interactions and ensure timely response to project-related queries.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), MIS reports, project dashboards, and executive summaries.
Maintain project schedules, trackers, risk registers, and project documentation.
Record and circulate meeting minutes and track action item closures.
Support project close-out activities including review of as-built drawings, completion documentation, and lessons-learned reports.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the enhancement of project planning, monitoring, reporting, and coordination processes.
Support implementation of project management best practices and standard operating procedures.

Project management and document control systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems and project reporting tools is preferred.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
Master’s degree in construction management / project management preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, project controls, coordination, or construction management.
Experience in real estate, commercial, industrial, warehousing, logistics parks, infrastructure, or construction projects preferred.
Exposure to consultant coordination, procurement tracking, project reporting, and schedule management will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
