Civil Design Engineer

About the Role
Nevyati Engineering Consultancy LLP is looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer to plan, design, and develop safe and efficient infrastructure and structural solutions. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet technical, regulatory, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil and structural design calculations, drawings, and models.
- Develop GA drawings, layouts, reinforcement details, and construction documentation.
- Perform load calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, and project teams for integrated design delivery.
- Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering.
- Ensure quality, safety, and constructability in all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, or similar.
- Strong understanding of RCC and steel structures.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–5 years of relevant design experience (flexible depending on level).
- Experience with international codes and standards.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination.
