Role Summary:
Apply epoxy/polyester resin to natural stone slabs like marble or granite to fill cracks, pits, and fissures,
improving structural strength and surface quality before polishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Inspect slabs for cracks, holes, and defects. Clean and dry surfaces using air
blowers, brushes, or ovens to ensure proper resin bonding
- Resin Mixing: Mix resin, hardener, and color pigments as per specified ratios and stone color. Ensure
consistency and pot life are maintained
- Application: Apply resin using trowels, rollers, or automated resin lines. Fill all natural voids, cracks, and
surface imperfections uniformly
- Curing Management: Place treated slabs in curing chambers/ovens or allow natural curing. Monitor
temperature and curing time as per resin type
- Quality Check: Inspect slabs post-curing for proper filling, bubbles, or uneven coating. Remove excess
resin and prepare for next process
- Equipment Care: Clean tools, mixing containers, and application equipment daily. Perform basic
maintenance of resin lines and ovens
- Safety & Compliance: Handle chemicals safely using gloves, masks, and aprons. Follow MSDS guidelines
and ensure proper ventilation. Dispose of waste as per norms
- Documentation: Maintain records of resin consumption, batch numbers, slab count, and quality issues
per shift
Requirements
- Education: 10th pass preferred. Basic literacy to read work orders
- Experience: 1+ years in resin application in marble/granite industry. Freshers with training can be
considered
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of resin types, mixing ratios, color matching for different stones. Familiarity
with manual and automatic resin lines
- Physical: Ability to stand for long hours, handle chemicals, work in warm conditions near ovens
- Other: Good attention to detail, color perception, adherence to safety practices
Working Conditions
- Factory environment with chemical fumes, heat from ovens, and standing work
- Rotational shifts based on production requirements
- Mandatory use of PPE due to chemical exposure
Pay: ₹10,099.93 - ₹32,911.80 per month
