About the Role
We are looking for an experienced BI / Analytics Developer with hands-on experience in the GoodData platform to join our data and analytics team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GoodData, MAQL, Logical Data Modeling (LDM), semantic modeling, SQL, and data warehousing, along with experience developing analytical dashboards and optimizing BI solutions.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable analytical models, develop meaningful metrics and KPIs, and deliver high-quality reporting and dashboard solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions using the GoodData platform.
- Build and maintain Logical Data Models (LDM) and semantic models.
- Develop and manage MAQL-based metrics, KPIs, and analytical calculations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytical and reporting requirements.
- Work with data warehouses and understand data integration and analytical data structures.
- Design and maintain dimensional and star-schema data models, including fact and dimension tables.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand and support ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting, modeling, and dashboard-related issues.
- Identify and implement performance optimization opportunities across queries, data models, metrics, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytics deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with the GoodData platform is highly preferred/required.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MAQL, GoodData metrics, and KPI development.
- Experience with GoodData LDM and semantic modeling.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling and star-schema architecture.
- Experience in developing BI dashboards and reports.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
- Experience in troubleshooting, query optimization, and BI performance tuning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
