Job Summary:
The Admission Counsellor / Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for prospective parents, students, and visitors. This role combines front office management with admissions counselling, ensuring a seamless and professional experience while supporting compliance with school systems such as ERP and UDISE.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Reception Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a professional and welcoming manner
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries efficiently
- Maintain visitor logs and adhere to campus safety protocols
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and campus tours
- Ensure reception area is well-maintained and organized
Admissions Counselling:
- Provide accurate information about the IB curriculum, programs, and school offerings
- Guide parents through the admission process, documentation, and timelines
- Conduct campus tours and orientation sessions for prospective families
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective leads to ensure conversion
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams during admissions
ERP & Data Management:
- Manage and update student data in the school’s ERP system (inquiries, applications, enrolments)
- Generate reports and track admission metrics using ERP tools
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all student and parent records
- Assist in digital documentation and record-keeping processes
UDISE & Compliance Support:
- Assist in maintaining and updating data required for UDISE (Unified District Information System for Education)
- Coordinate with administration to ensure timely and accurate submission of UDISE data
- Support compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements
Administrative Support:
- Maintain student admission files and records
- Support school events such as open houses, orientations, and parent interactions
- Prepare reports and documentation related to admissions and front office operations
- Handle general administrative tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education or Administration preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or front desk roles (preferably in a school)
- Freshers can apply, Training will be provided.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data management
- Knowledge of UDISE or similar educational reporting systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
