JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking highly qualified and passionate Faculty Members to teach German and Japanese languages. You will design curriculum, deliver engaging lectures, and evaluate student progress. This role requires native or near-native language proficiency and a strong academic background.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver Lectures: Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural nuances.
- Develop Curriculum: Design lesson plans, course materials, and syllabi.
- Assess Progress: Create, administer, and grade exams, quizzes, and assignments.
- Mentor Students: Provide academic guidance, feedback, and remedial support.
- Foster Engagement: Organize cultural events, language clubs, and interactive activities.
- Update Skills: Participate in professional development workshops and academic research.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree: M.A. in German / Japanese Studies, Linguistics, or Foreign Languages .
Language Certification Requirements For German Faculty
- CEFR Level: Minimum C1 or C2 level certification from the Goethe-Institute .
- Test Scores: Test DAF (Level 4 or 5) or DSH (Level 2 or 3) certificates.
For Japanese Faculty
- JLPT Level: Minimum N2 or N1 certification from the Japan Foundation.
- Oral Fluency: High-level spoken proficiency verified by a BJT or interview.
Experience & Skills
- Teaching Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience in higher education or language institutes .
- Soft Skills: Excellent public speaking, patience, and cross-cultural communication skills.
