- Valid Electrical License (preferred).
Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and production machinery to ensure maximum equipment availability, safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and utilities.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in motors, control panels, drives, PLC-controlled machines, and automation systems.
- Maintain LT panels, MCC panels, DBs, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, timers, and electrical circuits.
- Carry out cable laying, termination, and panel wiring as required.
- Ensure proper functioning of compressors, DG sets, lighting systems, and utility equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and all electrical safety standards.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support machine installation, relocation, and modification activities.

- Use appropriate PPE while performing maintenance activities.
- Adhere to LOTO procedures before maintenance work.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical regulations.
