About the Role: Provide effective support for Regulatory compliance team in Sanctions process, related Due Diligence and Independent contractor compliance process
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the Regulatory Compliance Team in Sanctions process in maintaining an effective control framework aligned with applicable external laws and regulations, internal policies and procedures, industry best practices.
- Conduct Sanctions Due Diligence on new contractors, Clients and vendors, Related third parties.
- Proactively assist in identifying, managing, and mitigating global sanctions risks, ensuring consistent compliance across jurisdictions.
- Provide support for global independent contractor compliance processes (IR 35, AWR and SDE’s EU/APAC), ensuring seamless operations and adherence to compliance protocols.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory changes, communicate impacts proactively, and help develop internal frameworks to address them.
- Monitor functional area compliance and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrate understanding of AI technologies and their applications in staffing and legal contexts.
- Aggregate, clean, and reformat data and documentation related to Commercial Compliance and Risk for internal reporting and auditing.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to uphold NES’ standards of commercial compliance.

Essential Criteria
- Master’s degree (Finance) with 0-2 years PQE or similar experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel (especially conditional formatting and data validation features), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience administering defined compliance criteria and key activities within a demanding environment.
- Experience in accurately and consistently documenting and filing written and verbal information.
- Proven ability to make informed judgements on collated data for action and improvement.
- Experience gathering data from multiple systems and sources.
Desirable Criteria
- Conversant with database systems (e.g. WorldCheck, Dun & Bradstreet risk analytics or similar).
- Conversant with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Onboarding systems (e.g. Bullhorn or Bullhorn Back Office).
- Previous compliance and risk administration experience.
