At Deloitte, we are embarking on a transformative Journey and facilitating data onboardings onto our core data platforms. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Associate Analyst who has a basic understanding of data principles with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic project environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps.
- Support data cleansing and enrichment activities under established guidelines.
- Help validate source extracts against business requirements, data rules, and expected results.
- Perform basic post-load validation to confirm data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined rules.
- Document data quality issues, validation results, and resolution status for review.
- Work with ETL developers and senior team members to implement data quality checks.
- Support the investigation and root cause analysis of data defects and validation failures.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and project teams to resolve data-related issues.
- Follow established data quality standards and contribute ideas for process improvement.
The team
Global Data Management supports strategic data onboarding and data quality efforts across core enterprise platforms. The team works closely with business, technology, and project stakeholders to validate data, resolve quality issues, and help improve the accuracy, consistency, and usability of data used across the organization.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree-: B.Com, B.Sc.,
- 0-1 years experience with basic proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, transformation, and analysis.
- Foundational understanding of ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF), preferably through academic projects, training, or hands-on exercises.
- Awareness of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS) and willingness to develop practical expertise.
- Ability to investigate data and process issues using structured root cause analysis (RCA).
- Basic understanding of code debugging and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros for data preparation, reporting, and task automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
