Titan, a leading brand, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Senior Designer to join our Retail Projects team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As an MEP Senior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our retail projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MEP systems for retail projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project design
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of MEP installations
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP systems
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for MEP installations
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in MEP technology and incorporate them into project designs
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP design, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into building designs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel for site visits and inspections
Additional Parameters:
- Experience in jewellery retail projects is a plus
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Certification in MEP design is preferred
