We're expanding our team and looking for an experienced Senior Immigration Consultant to guide clients through visa and immigration processes with expertise and integrity.
About the Role
We're seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Senior Immigration Consultant to manage end-to-end visa counseling, documentation, and case processing for study, work, and immigration pathways. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with international immigration procedures and a strong track record of successful case outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective clients on suitable visa categories (student, work, PR, dependent, etc.) based on their profile and goals
- Evaluate client eligibility and advise on the most viable immigration pathways for target countries
- Guide and support clients through complete documentation, application, and compliance processes
- Liaise with embassies, consulates, and regulatory bodies to track application status and resolve issues
- Stay current with immigration policies, visa rules, and country-specific regulatory changes
- Review and verify documents for accuracy and compliance before submission
- Mentor junior consultants and support team training on updated processes
- Maintain accurate client records and case updates in the CRM system
- Meet individual and team targets for client conversions and case approvals
- Handle escalations and provide solutions for complex or rejected cases
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration consulting, visa counseling, or overseas education services
- Strong working knowledge of visa processes for countries such as Canada, UK, Australia, USA, or Europe (specify as applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications in immigration law/consulting are a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-volume lead and case management
- Multilingual ability (English + regional languages) is an advantage
- Prior experience working with an overseas education or immigration consultancy
