We are looking for a versatile and visionary UI/UX Designer based in Bengaluru who can seamlessly blend user empathy, AI-driven design workflows, and general creative aesthetics.
The Role Overview
As our UI/UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end design lifecycle of the Utsav App and Web platforms. You won't just build wireframes; you will redefine how users interact with faith online. You will utilize and design for AI-driven features and occasionally put on a General Designer hat to craft engaging marketing and brand creatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design (UI/UX): Craft beautiful, intuitive, and accessible user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for our mobile app (iOS/Android) and web ecosystem.
- AI Integration:
- Design user experiences around AI features
- Actively use AI generation tools (like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or Figma AI plugins) to optimize design workflows, create hyper-realistic visual assets, or conceptualize fast prototypes.
- General & Brand Design: Support the marketing and growth teams by designing eye-catching social media graphics, ad creatives, performance marketing banners, and physical packaging/print materials for our holy Prasad deliveries.
- User-Centric Approach: Translate complex user behavioral data, devotional habits, and customer feedback into clean, culturally respectful, and highly engaging designs.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Founders, and Engineers to ensure pixel-perfect deployment and rapid iteration in an agile startup environment.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Proven UI/UX Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating mobile-first app design, a keen eye for typography, layout, hierarchy, and a deep understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI).
- AI Expertise: Practical experience in utilizing generative AI tools for asset generation, or a solid portfolio showing that you have designed UX solutions for AI/ML-driven features.
- Versatile Skillset (General Design): Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator) to quickly spin up marketing assets when needed.
- Mastery of Design Tools: Exceptional command over Figma (including auto-layouts, advanced prototyping, and component libraries).
- Startup Mindset: High ownership, adaptability to pivot quickly, and a passion for building products from 1 to 100.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
- Bonus: A deep cultural understanding or appreciation for the devotional landscape in India to better empathize with our core audience.
